FAQ

The questions people actually ask

Including the uncomfortable ones. If your question is not here, ask the AI assistant in the corner of any page, or call Anil Aggarwal directly.

Is this an MLM?

No. You are paid on insurance products actually sold to clients by licensed agents, and recruiting is optional.

Experior describes its structure as a tribrid: it merges the independent brokerage, career agency and builder models. Every dollar of commission or override originates from a real insurance policy sold to a real client by a state-licensed agent and issued by a carrier.

There is no product to buy for resale, no inventory, and no requirement to recruit. The personal producer track grows from 70% to the top personal contract level on your own production alone.

If you do choose to build a team, you earn overrides on the first-year commission your team writes — the same way every agency hierarchy in the insurance industry has worked for a century.

How much can I actually earn?

It depends entirely on how much you sell. Your contract sets the percentage; your activity sets the income.

You start at 70% of the carrier commission grid and can grow to 130% on personal production alone. If you build a team, overrides run seven generations deep (14%, 7%, 3%, 2%, 1%, 0.5%, 0.5%) for a total potential grid payout of 158%.

Use the income calculator on this site to run your own numbers: sales per month, average annualized premium, contract level. It multiplies them out so you can see what a given activity level pays at each contract level.

Nobody can honestly promise you an income figure. Agents who do not prospect and do not run appointments earn nothing, regardless of contract level.

Do I have to recruit people?

No. The personal producer track reaches the top personal grid with no team.

There are two tracks on the same contract. Personal producer: you sell, you promote on your own production, and you can reach up to 130% total payout without ever recruiting.

Team builder: you also recruit and develop agents and earn override income on their production, which is how agents get to the 158% total grid figure.

You can start as a personal producer and switch to building later. Nothing about your contract forces the choice up front.

Can I do this part-time?

Yes. Many agents start part-time around another business or job.

Anil himself started part-time alongside real estate and mortgage. Appointments are typically evenings and weekends, and most of them can be run over Zoom.

As an independent contractor you set your own schedule. There is no minimum hour requirement, though there is a modest production expectation to promote up the grid.

Part-time does not mean unsupported: you get the same training system, mentorship on your first cases and carrier access as a full-time agent.

I am not licensed yet. Can I still start?

Yes. We walk you through pre-licensing and the exam, and you get a course coupon that drops a $299 course to $30.

Most states require 20 to 40 hours of approved pre-licensing education, then a proctored state exam of roughly 50 to 150 questions with a passing score near 70%, then fingerprinting and a license application. Most people finish in two to six weeks.

Submit the interest form and you get a coupon code for the sponsored pre-licensing course: $299 list price for $30. The state exam, fingerprint and application fees are paid to the state or its vendor and are not discounted.

You cannot sell or be paid on insurance until your license is issued and your carrier appointments are in place. That is state law, not an agency rule.

Can I keep my real estate or mortgage license?

Yes — and that combination is one of the main reasons agents come here.

Independent contracting means no broker tells you that you cannot hold multiple licenses. Life insurance, mortgage origination and real estate can all run alongside each other.

The client overlap is real: buyers you closed just took on the biggest debt of their lives, and most are underinsured against it. Mortgage protection is the natural first product.

Insurance income also counter-cycles real estate. When rates and inventory work against you, protection and guaranteed-income conversations get easier.

Who owns my clients and my book?

You do. You can build it, grow it, sell it or pass it on.

Your clients are contracted to you, not to a captive career agency. If you ever leave, your book does not stay behind.

That ownership is what makes renewal income and equity meaningful — a book you own has transferable value, unlike a salaried production quota.

Qualifying builders also get access to equity and wealth-building programs on top of commissions.

What does it cost to join?

Your licensing costs plus a modest monthly technology/platform fee. There is no charge for the interview or the training.

Licensing costs are yours and go to the state and its vendors: pre-licensing course, exam fee, fingerprinting and the license application — typically a few hundred dollars total.

The agency charges a monthly technology/platform fee that covers the CRM, e-App tools, illustrations and training library. The exact amount depends on your contract level and is disclosed before you contract.

No fee is charged for the Expert Financial Analysis, for the interview, or for using anything on this website.

What products would I be selling?

Term and permanent life, indexed universal life, annuities, plus retirement and rollover strategies.

The core lines are term life, whole life, indexed universal life (IUL), fixed indexed annuities and 401k/IRA rollover strategies, with access to 60+ carriers.

That breadth matters at the kitchen table: rated or declined cases can be placed elsewhere instead of walking out the door, and the same client can be served across protection, retirement income and tax diversification.

Product training is included and continuous — live sessions plus a recorded library.

How do I get clients?

A defined six-step client process, warm-market coaching, referrals from every review, and your existing network.

The process is intro conversation, free Expert Financial Analysis, recommendations, application, annual review, then referrals. Your mentor runs the first ones with you.

Real estate and mortgage professionals start with the warmest possible list: past clients who just bought a home.

Annual reviews are the engine. Every review generates referrals and surfaces the life events that change coverage.

How fast do I get paid?

Much faster than a real estate closing — commission follows once the policy is approved and placed.

Once the application is submitted and underwriting (including any exam and labs) is complete, an approved policy is placed and commission is released on the carrier's schedule.

Carriers pay first-year commission as-earned or as an advance, depending on the carrier and your contract. Advances are repaid if a policy lapses early — that chargeback risk is real and is explained before you write business.

Renewal commissions on in-force business follow in later years, which is the residual side of the model.

What is the next step?

Submit the interest form, then book a free Expert Financial Analysis and interview in the next 24–48 hours.

The form takes two minutes: license status, state, your goal and the best way to reach you.

You immediately get your course coupon code if you are not licensed yet, plus a link to book a time.

The first call is a two-way interview. We look at your situation, show you the contract and the math, and you decide.

Important: This site describes an independent contractor business opportunity in insurance and financial services. Commission levels, override percentages and any income figures shown are illustrations of the published contract structure, not a promise, guarantee or projection of what you will earn. Actual commissions vary by carrier, product, state, contract level and personal production, and most of what you earn depends on your own sales activity. Nothing here is an offer of employment, a salary, a securities offering or individualized financial, tax or legal advice. You must hold the applicable state license and carrier appointments before selling any insurance product.

  • Agents at Experior Financial Group are independent contractors, not employees. There is no salary, no W-2 and no guaranteed income; you are paid commissions on the business you personally write and overrides on the business your team writes.
  • Commission and override percentages on this site reflect the published USA contract grid. Carrier and product grid factors vary (roughly 90% of chart on average), so real payouts differ from the illustration.
  • Calculator results are arithmetic on the numbers you type in. They are illustrations, not projections, quotes or guarantees of income.
  • No fee is charged for the Expert Financial Analysis, for using this site, or for being interviewed. Standard agency technology/platform fees and your own state licensing and exam costs are disclosed to you before you contract.
  • Recruiting is optional. The personal producer track grows to the top personal contract level with no team and no recruiting requirement.
  • You must be at least 18, complete your state's pre-licensing requirement where applicable, pass the state exam and clear a background check before you can be appointed and sell.
